Trader/Portfolio Manager

Responsibilities for the buy-side trader:
- Execution of discretionary trade orders of colleagues (portfolio managers), implementation of medium-term discretionary ideas in fixed income, equities and FX;
- Operating Bloomberg terminal and monitoring alerts for limited orders executions as well as market-driven news;
- Monitoring sell side recommendation changes as well as market moving factors affecting buy list candidates;
- Timely alerting analysts and portfolio managers on general market trends/conditions and participating in trade ideas generation;
- Asserting market volatility in equities to obtain a better than VWAP execution;
- Assuming personal responsibility for decision-making and trades execution in line with established investment policy over time;
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of financial market instruments, operating principles and basic infrastructure elements;
- Practical experience in execution trades through various trading platforms including Bloomberg API;
- Deep practical skills and knowledge in financial markets, operating environment for US and European markets preferred;
- Experience in the position of a buy-side trader or analyst from 2 years preferred;
- Creative individual with attention to details with ability to generate market ideas with value generated for overall portfolio, a team player is desired;
- Fluent English and Russian is a must with French, Spanish, or German is a plus;
- Knowledge and understanding of option pricing, hedging strategies and derivatives is a plus.
